Chuck Moody Memorial Fund
Benefitting individuals & families impacted by addiction
A native Houstonian who loved the outdoors, Charles “Chuck” Warner Moody was a gregarious soul who had many friends. In his early twenties, he established and managed a successful mountain wilderness program at his family’s West Texas ranch which served a large number of the state’s foster youth population.
Despite his lively sense of humor, Chuck struggled valiantly with addiction. However, he found great support and care within the walls of The Council on Recovery. His trademark greeting of “Who loves you baby" was known to many. Tragically, Chuck was planning his engagement for the first time at age 44 when he lost his life in a car accident near Galveston.
Make a gift in memory of Chuck to help individuals and families afford treatment for addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.
